Facebook needed me and my team to create a Facebook Oculus campaign to target college students. Our strategy research revealed that social media ads would be the most effective way to target this audience.

Challenge

We used Facebook and Instagram as our two main touchpoints. We wanted the ads to target cities with large college student populations such as Salt Lake City, New York City, Tampa, Los Angeles, etc. The ads were meant to be optimized to target college students, ages 18-24, with common interests in technology brands, including Apple, Samsung, Windows, etc. As a result of our work, our team progressed through multiple rounds of the AAF 2022 competition.
